We offer a nursery for babies (0 - 18 months), and Children's Church (2 years old - 12 years of age) for both morning services. Our most complete Children's Church program is offered during the 10:40am worship service. A “multi-sensory” style of teaching is used to help children learn about and experience God, while challenging them to make Him the center of their lives.

The purpose of our Children’s Church is to provide the opportunity for kids to worship in a setting for kids. While most children find Children's Church to be a very fulfilling experience, all children are also welcome to worship with their parents in the main worship services if they prefer.

During evening services we offer a nursery for babies (0 - 18 months) and Children's Church for ages 2 - 5.

Our Safe and Sound Policy: Each of our children and youth workers, whether volunteer or a paid staff person, is trained, qualified and screened through an application process and background check. We strive to take every reasonable measure to provide a safe learning environment for all those entrusted to our care.

STEP IT UP
“Step It Up” is an unique ministry for children in 5th and 6th grade. Through high energy activities and purposeful educational experiences, these pre-teens are challenged to “step up” their faith! “Step It Up” meets once a month on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in this ministry to strengthen relationships with their pre-teens.

CAMP
Lake Hills supports the Twin Lakes Camp and Conference Center in Hillsboro, IN. Each year many of our elementary aged children take advantage of this exciting week in the summer. During the “camp” experience, children are able to learn about God and His principles while enjoying the great creation He has made. Our church offers a “Camp Scholarship” program to help families send their children to camp. In this program, children “earn” points by accomplishing many different tasks from Scripture memory and devotions to helping around the house. These points are turned into pennies. Families are brought closer together as the children and even parents work hard to “earn” their way to camp.

SUMMER FUN WEEK
Each year our church hosts a week of “Vacation Bible School” for children 4 years old through 6th grade. Children from the community and our own church enjoy high energy praise and worship, treasured Bible stories, exciting missionary experiences, crafts and games during this theme related week. Over one hundred teens and adults team together for this very exciting week.

MUSIC AND ARTS FOR CHILDREN
To learn about our exciting music and worship ministry for children of all ages please view Worship under the Ministries tab.

Kids’ Musicals
Presented once a year by about 60 children in grades K-6. These fully staged productions of drama and music tell a story that will impact everyone in way that is fun and energetic! Participation is open to any child who will attend 13 weekly practices, Sunday evening at 6:00 pm.

Praise! Kids
A praise team for kids in grades 4-6. They sing quarterly on Sunday evenings and lead the worship for our exciting Summer Fun Week. Practices are on designated Thursday afternoons.

King’s Kids
This is a choir for children in grades K-3. They sing monthly on Sunday evenings, learning songs and Scriptures. Practice is Sunday afternoons at 5:20 and during the months when a Kids' musical is not being prepared.

Cherub Choir
This choir is the precious group of preschoolers age 3-5. They also sing monthly on Sunday evenings and practice on Sunday afternoons at 5:20 pm, or at 6:00 pm when the Kids' musicals are being rehearsed.
