Praise Ministry

We respond to God’s goodness with a lifestyle of worship expressed to the Lord from our hearts in song. We seek to give the congregation of the saints the opportunity to commune with God and testify to His goodness with a mixture of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with which we make melody in our hearts to the Lord. The hymns of our heritage, gospel songs of testimony, and choruses of praise and adoration give expression to the worship of our hearts.

Praise! Choir
The core of our adult music ministry, our Praise! Choir leads our congregation in worship each Sunday night throughout the year and an annual spring musical presentation. Membership is open to any Lake Hills member with a heart to praise God in song.

Vocal Ensembles
Our twelve vocal ensembles range from gospel quartets, men’s and women’s ensembles, and praise and worship teams. Each group sings quarterly and provides a unique diversity to the music in our services as well as providing special opportunities for musical expression and relationship building in a smaller group for the ensemble members. Membership is selected as needed from the Praise! Choir.

Praise! Band
Our Praise! Band includes vocal and instrumental leaders of worship for retreats, conferences and special events.

Instrumental Praise!
Seeking to praise the Lord with the sound of our instruments, brass, woodwind, string and percussion players have an opportunity to exalt the Lord in song. Smaller ensembles of like instruments also play quarterly. Membership is open to any developing instrumentalist.

Media Ministry

Audio/Video Team
A vitally important part of our services, our audio/video team ensures that all we do is seen and heard. For each service an audio technician controls the mixing console with an attentive ear, and a video technician operates the computer projection to enhance our worship experience with sight and sound. Participation is available to any interested individual who completes training.

Recording Ministry
Each of our services is recorded on DVD, VHS, CD, and audio cassette. Video recording includes the entire service and audio recordings are of the message from God’s Word. Copies are available to purchase for a nominal charge, and are also available as a ministry extension to our shut-ins.
