2023 AWANA Gran Prix in the Lake Hills Family Center on Saturday, March 4th. Check-in starts at 12:30pm. Races begin at 1:00pm.

Pit Night is Friday, March 3 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. The last day to purchase your cars is February 5th.

This Wednesday during Awana, from 6:15 – 8:00 PM

This Wednesday during Awana, from 6:15 – 8:00 PM, we will have a workshop where kids and their parent(s) can work on their cars for the Grand Prix. Join us as we have all the woodworking shop tools you will need to build your car. At least one parent must be present for the kids to participate.

Starting on February 5th we are showing some love to foster children by donating non-perishable food items and grocery store gift-cards to the Baptist Children's Home. 💛💚💛💚💛💚💛

We are excited to host a one-day family conference

We are excited to host a one-day family conference for our congregation and local community on Sunday, February 5th. There is not cost and everyone is invited.

The Resilient Family is made up of individuals who are learning to endure hardships and come back stronger spiritually and emotionally. Dr. Bob Moeller will teach family values to equip you in an increasingly unstable culture.

Session 1 - 8:30am or 11:00am in the Worship Center
Session 2 - 9:45am in the Student Center
Session 3 - 6:00pm in the Student Center

We are inviting our Adult and Student Bible class to meet together in the Student Center for Session 2 from 9:45am-10:45am.

You are encouraged to invite friends and family members to attend The Resilient Family, an entire conference in just one day!

Lord, we praise You this morning because You are the Author, Creator, and Sustainer of all life. We marvel at the beauty, diversity, and design of your creation and we take a moment today to stand in awe of and in thanksgiving for human life.
We confess that too often we don’t value life as we should. Forgive me, and forgive us. God, may we turn instead to an attitude of Love for others because we see them as you see them.
Your Word reveals to us your view of human life: You formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being. You created men and women in your own image- a masterpiece. You knew each one before you formed him and knit him together in the womb. Humanity is fearfully and wonderfully made according to the Scriptures and we can see that it is true. Each day of every life is ordained by You and not a single hair can fall from a head without your knowledge. You care for the birds of the air and You care much more for us. Ultimately, you sacrificed the Life of your own Son because of your love for human life.
Lord, let your love for humanity be our love for humanity.
You value the pre-born so let us value the pre-born. We thank you for laws that protect life.
You say in Isaiah 40:11 “You will tend your flock like a shepherd, You will gather the lambs in your arms, and gently lead those that are with young.” Please let this verse inspire us to find ways to “gently lead those who are with young” by helping pregnant mothers and all parents of young children who need support so that they can be all they are meant to be as a family and most of all so that they can come to know your Salvation and glorify You with their lives.
Today we humbly ask that you give us the strength to live out our belief in the sanctity of human life and answer your call to love our neighbor as ourselves by finding tangible ways this coming year to support life: (maybe it’s)
-a life that looks different from mine
-a different color
-a different culture, even from a different country
-a different age (someone very young,
