Staff

Pastor Chewy just joined our staff in the spring of 2025 after serving for eight years at another church near ours. He and his wife Melaina have three children and have been married since September of 2001.

He has studied at Liberty University and is currently pursuing his Master of Arts degree from Moody Theological Seminary.

He oversees worship, young adults, and tech. Also, the beard is real and he makes his own pick guards for guitars.

Pastor Adam and Jen married in 2000 and have four children. They came to Lake Hills very soon after being married and have been here since (yes, that’s 25 years in one place of ministry).

Pastor Adam studied at Maranatha Baptist University in Wisconsin (bachelor’s degree) and Liberty University (Masters).

He oversees student ministry and discipleship. Also, he loves The Ohio State University and does pushups for fun.

Pastor Jacob and his wife Lynsey married in 2008 and have three children. He began serving as Lead Pastor at Lake Hills on Mothers’ Day in 2023. Prior to that, he pastored in Southeast Michigan for 10 years.

He is a fourth generation pastor. He received a bachelor’s degree from Welch College near Nashville, TN, the Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is due to finish the Doctorate of Ministry degree (also from SBTS) in 2025.

He does most of the preaching and leads the staff. He drinks (at least) one Diet Coke a day and loves the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
